Re-opening in November!

A short, very happy, post to share that the store will be opening again in November! We’ve found a lovely, cosy new home for the store at 135 Comur street, next door to First National Real Estate. Big thanks to Pam from Full Circle Serenity for letting us know the lease sign was up.
Also, by way of a belated introduction, to follow up from Jo’s last post; my name’s Jodie – I’m following on from Jo in running the store. I’m a Yass mother of two little boys and a perennial student myself, so books are a big part of our lives and I’m really excited to be taking on the Yass Book Store.
Jo did a wonderful job of making the store a place that catered for local readers and I’d love to continue that approach. With that in mind, as I’m planning stock orders for the new space, I’m keen to hear any ideas or requests for the kinds of books and products you’d like to see in the store. That is very good news Jodie, wishing you all the best with the book store, they are so precious and rare, especially in rural areas. Jo used to bring books to the Goulburn Mulwaree Library's authors talks - will you still be doing that?
