Re-opening soon... but not quite November

Hope this newsletter finds you well.

A store update as we near the end of November. We are getting close but will not quite be able open the store by the end of November as hoped. Painting is complete (thanks to Parkers Painting) and the shelves are ready to go in. Some stock is on the way and we should have enough to open in a couple of weeks. Can’t wait!

Thank you to those who contacted me with ideas for the store after the last post. I loved hearing from you and the ideas were all fabulous.

Continuing in that vein, I’d like to have a bookshelf in the shop dedicated to recommendations from local readers. If you’d like to recommend a book you love or go back to often (any category, from any year), send me an email at jodie@theyassbookstore.com.au with the title of the book, author, and a little explanation (a few sentences or a paragraph) about the book and why you love it or keep revisiting/using it. If we include your book in the section, I’ll give you $5 off your next book as a thank you.
